Vimperk, Czech Republic / Boulder, CO – December 20, 2017 – Rouvy, an indoor cycling platform with advanced pedaling analytics, and TrainingPeaks, the leader in endurance training software, have announced the automation of workouts exchange.
“By ending public beta for ‘TrainingPeaks Workout of the Day,’ we are removing extra barriers and boredom within the cycling training experience,” says Rouvy Co-Founder and CEO Petr Samek. “Until now, all athletes training indoors have been building or exporting TrainingPeaks workouts manually. Now, things have gotten easier. All your daily workouts are directly and automatically uploaded from TrainingPeaks to Rouvy.”
“At TrainingPeaks we have been at the forefront of structured workout technology, and we continue to strive to find new ways to make it easier for our athletes to plan, track and analyze their training,” said Dirk Friel, President, Chief of Fitness Brands at TrainingPeaks. “By partnering with companies like Rouvy, we can continue to make the indoor training experience as efficient as possible, enabling athletes to reach their goals sooner.”
How it works
Just log in to the Rouvy App and make sure your account is linked on the cloud connections page. You will find today's workout under the TrainingPeaks menu button. You'll only see the workout for the current day, and it will update automatically each day. (All activities and results from the workouts done get synced backward to TrainingPeaks by default. Additionally, while riding any workout, you can select any local video file to play on top of the intervals profile for the training to be fun and motivating.) No boredom, less hassles around exports and imports of data or workout building, and more fun while working out! Detailed info is on the Rouvy blog
