YURIY RYASHKO - 30.09.2020

The year on ROUVY has gone by quickly and a new season is here, starting now! All Career levels, tasks, and prizes have been reset and replaced with new ones. A new format of Challenges, as well as new great rewards, are waiting for you. Let this season's cycling adventure begin!

The previous season was a special one and ROUVY continues to grow quickly thanks to every one of you who have been active to make it possible. ROUVY’s team was spread thin as the hosting of the official virtual races took a lot of focus and development. Nevertheless, Career mode has seen rider’s growth and engagement skyrocket, so here we are to continue a great tradition. This is the only place riders can earn the coveted ROUVY jersey with nothing but your consistent training efforts! Cool and desired jerseys should be worked for, shouldn’t they?

This season we’ve got new partners and an unprecedented amount of high-value prizes. In terms of tasks and their structure, there will be an additional format for Challenges. Challenges will be split into the short and long term goals. To be able to proceed in the career ladder, participation in the Official ROUVY Races is another new requirement. There are multiple reasons proving the indoor trainer has become a cyclist’s year-round friend. ROUVY CAREER is set to keep you focused and motivated across all months. The Career points were adjusted, so reaching the majority of levels is easier and more fun now!

IMPORTANT NOTE: 20/21 Career is strongly recommended to complete via ROUVY AR apps only as “racing” functionality will not be a part of the ROUVY Workouts soon.

As with the Challenges, the 20/21 annual Career is again full of great prizes! We are grateful to our long-term partners and welcome new Italian ones who will give you a chance to win something at every level as you progress. With these prizes, we hope you find the motivation to train consistently. Below you can find a short partner intro and overview:

Dear Rouvy, I am seeing more official races added to the months of Dec and Jan. But they are all for smart trainers. COuld you please kindly also organize more races for ALL TRAINERS please! It would be highly appreciated!!
    • yuriy888 - 14.12.2020
Hi, the evets were updated. Pls check them out.
      • udantas - 17.12.2020
Thank you kindly for adding more events!!! Great news!!! \0/
    • udantas - 07.12.2020
Indeed. I was coming to this page just to request Rouvy to include the ALL TRAINERS in the Official Races as they are mandatory for us to advance with our careers. What is the point to making the Rouvy specific races mandatory when they are not creating them. :-(
      • yuriy888 - 14.12.2020
A new round of events has been added. Usually, they are created on a monthly basis. Pls just follow the relevant event page. Thank you, ride on!
  • hilaryc - 19.11.2020
Hi, How do you gain the 20% discount on the Santini website? There is no reference to Rouvy on the website.
    • yuriy888 - 20.11.2020
All participants are receiving it by email upon completion of the task or participating in the race.
  • oleg1967 - 15.11.2020
Не могу участвовать в онлай-гонке нет поддержки моего станка хотя в прошлом году всё работало тут же заплатил как за премиум и что имеем меньше чем стандарт в прошлом , и просто отписка от службы поддержки .
    • yuriy888 - 16.11.2020
Thank you for using ROUVY. The list of supported trainers is to be extended this quarter. Pls stay tuned. Cheers.
  • veloski - 03.11.2020
Could you add more challenges so we could advance to the next level? I have completed all challenges after the reset on October 1st. We can no longer progress in career because there are no challenges.
    • burkni - 10.11.2020
I agree with the need for more challenges. I have reached the point where I consider training on other platforms while I wait for challenges and other possibilities to advance my career, don't see the point in just riding anymore.
      • kevingre - 11.11.2020
I would also love more challenges, but I do think we need to understand the issue from Rouvy's perspective. After all, at present, only 0.57% of their riders are at the Regional Level right now (I am as I'm sure you are). That's an awfully small percentage of your market to focus on. What I do when I hit an advancement wall, is get motivation in the overall season results. That's harder as of late - as it seems a new crop of Rouvy riders is putting in serious hours (30+ per week or even almost 5 hours every day). Of course the general training stimulus received is also great motivation.

Anyway, would love some new challenges too and hope they are coming. So far, it's been much better than previous years and I love the new mix of short term and long term challenges.
    • yuriy888 - 04.11.2020
Sure, there will be more. The next one starts on Monday. To be published soon.
  • Cutenekko - 24.10.2020
In career, could you change "Guy of Week" to "Rider/cyclist of the Week" or something more general? Not all Rouvy users are guys/male.
    • yuriy888 - 04.11.2020
To be forwarded to the product team. Thanks for the feedback.
  • full-quiver - 06.10.2020
Completely agree with comments below regarding career mode, smart trainers and long routes. Please create options to participate and advance in career mode as we were looking forward to a new season only be disappointed by these changes.
    • yuriy888 - 04.11.2020
It was taken care of, join any event on the official 'event' page on top of this web to advance. Thanks for the feedback.
      • full-quiver - 10.11.2020
I am not sure I understand. What was taken care of? Is completion of the long routes at the rookie level (and beyond) still required in a single ride to advance to the next level? Is there a consideration for that long single ride or completing the route in more than one session?
        • yuriy888 - 16.11.2020
Now you can participate in the official events even with the non-smart equipment. CAREER in its essence is a 1-year long challenge, so riders should embrace what it takes if they want to become the Legends.
          • full-quiver - 18.11.2020
Thank you for the clarification. The issue is not embracing to become a legend but allowing progress at lower levels. As mentioned below and in other comments rookie level is stated " Estimated effort: Approximately 2 - 3 h of indoor ride ." How can this be? A rookie could not complete the route (12+ miles at 4500+ elevation gain), plus a challenge. I am not trying to be obtuse but check the math, it doesn't see to add up. If I add the two first place finishers fro the required route and the cup of tea challenge (an easier one) that is ~2.5 hours. What is the strategic thinking for the overall platform with these requirements so hard? I have no illusion of being much beyond regional, but what are you ending everyone's career at the start instead of gaining interest and drive to grown and progress, seems you are pushing non serious cyclists to other platforms if they would like to have long term challenges that do not require hours in the saddle each ride.
            • yuriy888 - 20.11.2020
We hear you. It is to be taken into an account for the next season. ROUVY has multiple useful features to choose from and Career is just one of them. We will do better next time to improve things in the future. Thank you for the feedback.
              • full-quiver - 20.11.2020
Thank you, I agree that there are several great features and appreciate the consideration and flexibility. It would be great if there were a way to offer something prior to next Oct 1 as we still have ~90% of the season left.
